Trade Winds Mobile Home Park is located in the South Eastern part of Simi Valley California. You can find the park at 5150 Los Angeles Avenue, near the corner of Los Angeles Avenue and Stearns. This park by far has the best walk score of all the parks in Simi Valley. Across the street unfortunately, Albertsons Super Market went out of business, but rumer has it, that there will be a Smart and Final store of some kind coming soon. There is the Rancho Santa Susana Park and Community Center with baseball fields, gym and community center with fun programs year round, restaurants like Chi Chi's Pizza, Baskin Robbins 31 Flavors and a Del Taco. For Transportation use the Simi Valley Bus System with a nearby Bus Stop, and right next door, the Metrolink Train Station where you can pick up the Amtrack or Metrolink to Chatsworth, Northridge, Van Nuys, Burbank, Glendale and Downtown LA. Or up north to Moorpark, Camarillo, Oxnard, and East Ventura. The AMTRAK goes all the way south to San Diego and North to way up there. Lease space rents are $ 825/Month plus all utilities. There are no age restrictions at this park. On the MLS this property is referred to as 5150 Los Angeles Ave.
Simi Country Estates Mobil Home Park is located in the South Eastern part of Simi Valley California. You can find the park at 1550 Rory Lane at the end of Rory, South of Los Angeles Avenue. The park is in a very scenic area with sandstone rock formations, the Santa Susana Mountains rising from behind the park. This Park has a pool and basketball court. lots of open grassy areas to play on and picnic on Simi Country Estates, On the MLS is referred to as Rory Ln. No age restrictions. $825/Month plus all utilities. A long street block will take you from the entrance of the park to Los Angeles Avenue where there is and from there you can walk to Vons Market, a few fast food restaurants, and a number of other businesses.
Friendly Village Mobile Home Park in Simi Valley California is located on the West side of the city of Simi Valley at 195 Tierra Rejada Road, a 1/2 mile west of Madera, after L.A. Avenue turns into Tierra Rejada, the park is on Friendly Drive and Tierra Rejada. Friendly Village is age restricted to folks over 55. The Park is beautifully appointed, probably the best for view, location and park grounds. Just really well taken care of with swimming pool, Clubhouse, parklike grounds and unlike the other Mobil Home Parks in and around Simi Valley, this place is not directly adjacent to a railroad track. The closest shopping to the park is .3 miles away at Target, the closest supermarket, 1 mile away. Bus Transportation is available. Lease Rent is $925/Month plus all utilities.
Susana Woods Prestige Mobile Estates is Located at the very South Eastern side of Simi Valley California. Located at 6480 Katherine Road, it is near the corner of Kuehner and Katherine, next door to Knolls Elementary School. With the sandstone walls of the Santa Susana Mountains as the back-drop, this location is a little more secluded than some of the others. The bus is harder to access and the nearest grocery store is slightly out of range for a comfortable walk. The park is within walking distance to a well stocked liquor/corner store, a post office, beauty shop, parks and hiking trails. Monthly Space Rent here is $825/ month, plus all utilities.
Crest Mobile Home Village is located right next door to Simi Country Estates, accessed by Schunk Road, two blocks east of Yosemite Avenue off of Los Angeles Avenue. Crest is a seniors only mobile home community, for 55 and older. The park is very well established, meaning it is old, and quaint. Clean and well cared for, Crest is pretty much low frills, has a community pool that backs up to the Sandstone mountains. Crest has 41 spaces, the smallest of the "big" parks in Simi Valley California. As far as transportation is concerned, bus access at Los Angeles Avenue at the end of Schunk Road. There is a convenience store on that corner and about a .2 mile walk will bring you to a Von's Supermarket, US Bank, 7-Eleven and Chuy's Mexican Cantina as well as a doughnut shop and Sushi Restaurant.
Villa Del Arroyo is a family Mobile Home Park, located just outside the border of Simi Valley California in Moorpark California. This park is very large. Villa Del Arroyo is located on the south side of a stretch of road that parallels the 118 Ronald Reagan Freeway, between the Madera Road Exit and the Collins Exit
. This is a pretty expansive park with 240 spaces, pool facilities, club house, tennis courts and basketball. There is plenty of open space and grass fields. To the South of the park is a walking path and a beautiful view across the low lying arroyo towards the hills leading out to Thousand Oaks and beyond.
Toward the North, on the other side of road bordering the park is the Railroad Track.
Monthly rentals can run about $ 670 /per month. The park is very close to the freeway, and just next door to Simi Valley, and the gateway to the San Fernando Valley on one side, and Thousand Oaks and the coastal cities on the other side.
Shopping is close by with Costco, Walmart, and much more to the east, and the Moorpark Marketplace to the West.
